WORKSHOPS

  • Creating Antique Inspired Quilts – learn to design authentic style to fabric & sew antique with new fabrics, blocks, tops; quilt care & simple restoration tech. No sew. Students bring their “projects” of old blocks and fabrics; items are dated & quilt ideas discussed as a group. Kim’s examples inspire!

 

  • Dating Workshops -- to teach dating quilts, I describe students antique/vintage quilts, blocks and tops, 1800-1950. Quilt care. Pick my brain on various topics that leave you wondering?
    Beginners to  intermediate. No sew. Kit. *Power Point programs can be included in dating workshops for more visual examples

  • Reproduction Fabrics: What you've always wanted to know but didn't know who to ask. We focus on fabrics 1800-1950 and reproduction quilts.  

  • How to Date 1900s Quilts,* beginners to  intermediate. No sew. Kit
